We'll stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer, the once home of Renoir and one of the most beautiful hilltop villages on the French Riviera. The village is built upon a hill and surrounds the Château Grimaldi, which is now a museum.
The view of Cagnes-sur-Mer, which envisages of both the sea and the rising hills of the backcountry, provides a stunning, perfectly atmosphere.

Cagnes-sur-mer has been a source of inspiration to numerous painters, such as Renoir, Soutine, Klein, Foujita, Modigliani and Derain. Also, writers and artists, such as Georges Simenon, John Lewis, Brigitte Bardot and Greta Garbo, have had their homes and villas here.

Built in the 13th century this charming four-star hotel is an exceptional stone dwelling, which is a part of the city wall in the Medieval village Haut-de-Cagnes.
