One of the most fascinating churches of the world, where over forty British monarchs have been coronated, and the location of over sixteen weddings have been held here since 1100. You'll have the chance to visit the church and museum and afterwards, we'll gather for Evensong and be transported by the angelic singing of the choirboys.
What could be more British than afternoon tea? We'll indulge in one of the UK's most traditional celebrations: tea. And of course, it comes with champagne!
Royal Albert Hall sees almost two million visitors a year. Opened in 1871 by Queen Victoria, it's since held world-class performances throughout the last century. The suffragettes held meetings there and Winston Churchill gave speeches there. Together, we'll enjoy a festive singalong Christmas caroling evening at this much-loved, spectacular and historic venue.
Kew is stunning any time of the year but at Christmas, it's especially evocative. The gardens, decked out in lights, is a true spectacle. Wander the gardens with warm mulled wine and soak in the special atmosphere. Kew is close to Richmond, one of London's most delightful neighborhoods, which of course merits a stop for shopping or a meal on the way!
We'll stay near Chelsea's iconic Sloane Square, a neighborhood very much lived-in and loved by locals. With its truly unique and fascinating history, Chelsea is one of the most interesting and exciting neighbourhoods in London. Renowned for its beautiful parks, including the Chelsea Physic Garden and Battersea Park, it is also home to some of London’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Royal Hospital Chelsea and the Saatchi Gallery.
Today, Chelsea prides itself on being an affluent and upscale neighbourhood, offering world-class shopping and entertainment.
